Established in 2006, Create Balance Pilates Studio is known for its program variety, high-quality instruction, and positive energy. We are an intimate studio with an amazing team of trainers. We thrive on providing a warm and welcoming environment – somewhere for everyone to safely and effectively learn and practice PILATES.

Our studio offers Get Started/Introductory and Rehabilitation Programs, Private & Semi-Private instruction, as well as over 40 weekly group classes to choose from!

Introductory and Basic Principles Classes

These Introductory Classes are ideal for anyone new to Pilates and/or the studio before jumping into regular groups.

4 Week Intro Program:

Minimum 6 people to reserve studio space. Choose to book a single class or a 6 week program with your group.

    Amani’s private sessions are not just productive, but are truly fun and a highlight of my week! Always ready with a hug and a good laugh, she brings a warmth and bright energy to the studio. Amani is always open to trying new and challenging exercises with a positive attitude – even before her morning coffee! Her strength has noticeably improved over the past year… through increasing tension, toning ball weights, and she now does 3 sets of 30 second wall sits with zero complaints! She is also very body aware, often adjusting her form on her own. We are so proud of her progress and are grateful to have her in our Pilates community!

    STRONGER TOGETHER!

    For October, we want to celebrate couples who move together here at the studio.  A GREAT way to spend quality time doing something mindful and healthy with the one you love.  Help us celebrate Jane and Paul Morris!

    Two years ago we decided as a couple to just “try” Pilates as Paul was unsure about it. We signed up for introductory sessions guided by Collette and we were hooked. We are now stronger, steadier, and more flexible with better posture. Doing it together as a couple has been the best part as we laugh at each other’s wobbles while mixing up our left and right. We encourage each other and celebrate the improvements along the way. Needless to say, we look forward to every class.

     Pilates has kept us active and connected with others and reminds us that it is never too late to try something new and have some laughs along the way.
    The studio has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where the patient instructors provide coaching with attention to proper form and breathing technique. The sessions are often sprinkled with bits of humour and no two classes are the same which keeps things interesting.

     One of our favourite moves is the single thigh stretch for our tight hips and hamstrings. We enjoy both reformer and matwork and there are others we would like to try.
