Certified STOTT Pilates® Instructor
Barbara Liefhebber
I have always had a passion for fitness whether it is a traditional step class, running a half marathon, to cycling 100km a day for three days through the Cabot Trail. Amazing experience! I would consider myself an active person.
I discovered a taste of pilates through “Bodyflow” a group exercise program that combined elements of yoga, pilates and tai chi. I decided to take the weekend course and teach, but I always felt I was lacking the proper training and I craved more knowledge.
Fast forward 10 years and 3 children later I was ready to leave my full-time stay-at-home mom life and get back into the work world, but I wasn’t prepared to do just anything. My passion for health and wellness helped me rediscover my love for pilates. I knew STOTT PILATES® would be the right fit for me in particular as it is well recognized and a high quality training method. It was important for me to gain the knowledge that would give me the confidence in my ability, ensuring the best results for our clients.
I’m excited to begin this new stage in my life, knowing that I can make a difference in people’s lives. Helping our clients feel stronger and more balanced makes me proud to do the work that I do.
